NARC G1 GARLIC SEEDS
WHAT IS NARC G1?
NARC G1 is a high-yielding Garlic variety that was developed in Pakistan by the National Agriculture Research Centre (NARC). The yield per acres of NARC G1 is ranging between 5 to 7,000 kilograms (dry) making it possibly the highest yielding Garlic variety on the planet.

NARC-G1 GARLIC FARMING
WHY IS IT EXPENSIVE?
It is being sold as a seed in Pakistan but isn’t yet available for consumption locally. It comes with many advantages over other varieties imported and local in Garlic and has resulted in a massive rise in demand for its seeds from farmers, resulting in a gap between demand and supply, which has led to an increase in cost.
The disparity in demand and supply for its seeds is expected to last for several years. In the year 2021-2023 it was only grown over 1100 acres within Pakistan and the need for Pakistan is expected to remain as a plant for a number of years to in the years to.
GINGER FARMING
We are currently experiencing growth. Ginger on both of our farms within the 1 Acre area. The path has been very productive so far and is set to open the door for the cultivation of ginger across Pakistan. Our goal is to make Pakistan fully self-sufficient with Ginger and allow those who cultivate it to get a substantial amount of income from this crop applying modern techniques to ensure its success.
Ginger crops prefer moderate temperatures as well as high humidity throughout the 10-month cycle of the crop therefore it is grown in shade using an opaque shading net and fogging system that increases humidity drip irrigation, and the extensive organic matter used to improve the soil’s texture.
The most difficult months for us in the region are June and May because of the high temperatures.
